   यदि संबंधित पक्ष नऋद्दयायालय या अधिकरण में संयुकऋद्दत आवेदन प्रसऋद्दतुत करके अपना यह आशय वऋद्दयकऋद्दत करे कि वे आपस में समझऋता या निपटारा करना चाहते हैं तो वह मामला लोक अदालत कए समक्ष पेश हो सकाता है .
5. The award of the Lok Adalat can be enforced in law as it is deemed to be a decree of a civil court or tribunal and such award is final and binding upon all parties in dispute to avoid further costs , expenses and delay .
   लोक अदालत के अधिनिर्णय को विधित : लागू किया जा सकता है क़्योंकि इसे सिविल न्यायालय या अधिकरण की डिक्री माना जाता है तथा आगे और खर्च एवं विलंब को बचाने के लिए इसे विवाद के सभी पक्षों के लिए अंतिम तथा बाध्यकारी माना जाता है .
6. The Act itself provides that the Lok Adalat will determine the proceedings before it and will act with utmost expediency in arriving at a compromise/settlement between the parties , and that the Lok Adalats are to be guided by legal principles and principles of justice , equity and fair play .
   अधिनियम में स्वयं ही इस बात का उपबंध है कि लोक अदालत अपने समक्ष चलने वाली कार्रवाई का अवधारण करेगी और विवादी पक्षों के बीच समझौते/निपटारे के लिए अधिकतम शीघ्रता के साथ काम करेगी और यह कि लोक अदालतें विधि के सिद्धांतों , न्याय के सिद्धांतों , साम्या और ऋजुता से प्रेरित होंगी .
